What to do about "re-growth" until I can get my hair highlighted!?

My hair is naturally a brownish blonde (dirty blonde), but I usullay get it highlighted with some blonde and lowlighted with some burnette every six weeks. Due to lack of time and money, it's been about 8 weeks. I need a way to hide these roots (without wearing a hat... lol) until next week, when I can get my hair done!

Do you know of any hair products available for this?

Thanks!

I do the same with my hair. But I didn't have the money and my roots was getting bad so I bought a highlighting deal from Wal-mart and fried it! My hair was falling out, I could barley brush it, It was a mess, so until it gets healthy enough I have been buying this root touch up. It is only like 8 bucks, but I say that if you are going next week then just it go and have the professionals do it!

If you are only waiting until next week I would live with it and let a professional do it.

Kool-aid, is often used as a hair dye. Be careful on what color you choose.

Yes, and you can do this yourself or have someone help you if you want, go and get a highlighting kit at walmart (Loreal) it has a little brush and instructions on how to mix very easy then after mixing, brush this onto you roots while your hair is dry. Brush on the outside of you hair where you want the highlights to be, start from the root and blend into the the other older highlights, be careful not to get this on too thick, leave this on for thirty minutes then wash your hair and the root problem will be gone and you will probably be able to wait awhile to have you hair done professionally, it will look pretty good. Since your hair is dirty blond anyhow, this will work on your hair great. I hope this helps
