whats better to do when u highlight your hair?

do you get it done at a proffesional salon...

or get it done at your local cost cutters

or do it yourself

because i was wondering do you have to get it done at a expensive salon for it to look good or could you just go to a place like cost cutters?

Go with the pro, it always looks better and the quality is better. Don't use the do-it-yourself kits, those never work out.

my friends mom trained a little to be a beautician and she knows how to use the cap u pull some hair through to highlight so she does mine and it looks great, if u know someone like that get them to do it it looks good and it's free!!!

I have never done it at coast cutters but I have gone t a salon and it came out perfect... then my mom did mine once when I was about 12 and it was HORRIBLE she had forgotten what time she put it in so it was platinum blond (and I had brown hair).

My neighbor did mine, but she's professionally trained. It turned out amazing!!!! Once, I tried to do it to myself, it turned our horrible so I dyed my hair back to my normal color without the highlights.
