I 've never dyed my hair before and I'm thinking about dying it this color. My husband insist that I don't because he loves my hair this way.

Don't do it black hair is beautful God gave you black hair you should keep it that way. You husband Loves your hair just the way it is. There's no reason to change it.

make a list of pros and cons. talk to a hairdresser who knows what it could do. research it. and listen to your husband.

i think it will look very pretty with your skin tone, and thats a very good look for summer. my husband said the same thing until he saw it. in their eyes, we are fine just the way we are, but when they how good it looks they luv it, trust me!!!!

Dont dye your hair unless you are definate you want to do it. Dying your hair can damage it so bad. So if you decide to, do it with a good healthy product, or better yet, professionally. I think the only way to tell if it will look good is if you try it on....there is a clariol website that lets you try different hairstyles on a picture you take.

with your skin tone auburn highlights on dark hair might look better, will not wash you out:) Susan

So what? Dye it and see what you think. Tell your husband (if he complains) that it will return to its natural color. If he squawks louder remind him its not as though you got a tattoo or cut your ear off.

If he persists further, tell him he's a dope and threaten to get a Mohawk as well as pierce your nose and eyebrows.

He'll see the light. Plus, if you don't like it tell him you've been thinking about dying your hair orange. Let's see what happens the second time around.

In any event. You will look exceptional with the light brown highlights. You have dark eyes and it'll accentuate them more. Easy on the highlights though. Just enough to add some highlight.

Actually, looking your skin tone, and also your hair, I'd say, yes, it will look great on you. Try just a little perm to give it some twist flavour and not to make the high light too light, but just enough.

But to also be honest, you're hair looks great anyway. It really suits you but it's your choice, but I do say, u look great anyway.
