whats the differences between low lights and high lights ..i have light brown hair shoulder length with layers i want to add some dark brown or black ...what the differences please help thanks

Highlights -- goes lighter

Lowlights -- goes darker

You can do a combo of highlights (a coppery color) and lowlights (a chocolaty color) -- like tortoise shell coloring!

if you wanna add lighter colored streaks thats called highlights and if your adding darker colored streaks its called lowlights.
