I really wanted something not to drastic on my hair, but still shows up really well.

Yes, that works best with dark brown hair actually. That's what I get. Blonde streaks look too odd. The contrast is good enough to have an obvious look, and looks less extreme. Pretty.

yeah it should do i have medium/dark brown hair, and it showed up on mine when i had it done

yes. it should %26amp;%26amp; it going to look gorgeous but just make sure that the person doing the highlights knows wat they are doing.
